The Purpose

The The Neighbor Network was created as a neighbor business platform, where neighbors can search for each other's services based on their profession. Taking in a Google Geo-Code as a parameter, it allows you to find neighbors that live next to you, and inquire about their services. The Neighbor Network was built in hopes that neighbors utilize each other's professions out of convenience. The unique rating system that was developed is one of the key components that helps insure that the consumer receives great service.

Future Additions

In order to meet MVP, we decided to place a chat functionality in tier two additions. Adding a chat into the application would allow users to stay on our site longer, and also protect both customers and service providers with secure communication, and a history of the correspondence for their benefit.
